It is a 3.5E campaign, with no homebrew material, starting at lvl1...
you should consider it a "teaching" campaign with ordinary encounters designed
to teach the new players of the group the mechanics of the game and the
"purpose" of each class in the game...
so, sources kinda limited.. PhB,PhB2,Completes and Individual classes books like:
song &silence, sword & fist etc etc...

Group is consists of:
Human Barbarian (old/Xperienced player) main Close combat dmg dealer
Human Fighter (old/Xperienced player) battlefield control/disabler
Dwarf Rogue (medium Xper. player) trap/skillmonkey
Elf Ranger (medium Xper. player) tracker/scout range dmg dealer
Elf Sorcerer (NEW d&d player) our only arcane caster / dmg oriented
Human Cleric (NEW d&d player) our only divine caster / healing oriented

Considering the above (type of campaign, sources etc etc) i d like your opinion
about my built and maybe some suggestions...

Human Fighter (lvl1)
Str 16 Dex 14 Con 12 Int 14 wis 12 Cha 10
Feats: TwF, C.Expertise, Impr. Trip
Feats to be taken: Ex.W.Prof: Kusari-Gama (dmg)(at lvl2) , Impr.Disarm (at lvl3)
Feats under consideration: Wpn.Focus, Wpn.Specialization, Impr.Init., Combat Reflexes
(not in that specific order)

My main goal with this char, is to control the battle by disable the enemies
so the rest group has an easier job...
dealing dmg is secondary but not to be left aside...

so tell me.. what do you think? is there any feats &/or skill tricks that may
help me improve a bit more my trips, disarming or generally my control over battles?

Id like your opinion about the built and some suggestions about how to improve it.

Plz include book & pg with your suggestions :)

thnx a lot.

First of all I think you need to switch places with your DEX and your CON, you're a fighter, unless you're going ranged you don't really need the DEX anywhere near as much as you need the CON.

Second, you probably want to look into either weapons like halberds (for reach) or the spiked chain (tripping) along with feats for combat maneuvers such as improved trip, improved bullrush, etc.

And the rogue needs to make sure he gets UMD and some scrolls and wands to cover the spells needed for good battle field control (since controller is normally a wizard specialty).

Sounds like you could accomplish this better with a Bard (http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/19870498/The_Bards_Handbook). Bard has a lot of spells, even at low levels (Sleep, Grease, Hideous Laughter, etc.), which can disable enemies and control the battle. They can also make the job easier for the rest of the group too (Inspire Courage (http://community.wizards.com/go/thread/view/75882/19869994/Bard_Inspire_Courage_Optimization), Inspire Competence, and a decent amount of buff spells). With the various buffs the Bard has, dealing damage should not be an issue (especially if you have access to other books).

the whole idea is to accomplish the goal (disable and control) with mundane methods..
no spells or Sp.like abs at all...
just a guy with those fancy chainlike weaps that goes in to fight , protecting
the squishy allies and enables dmg dealers to do easier dmg...

Have you looked at the Horizon Tripper?

You don't quite meet the prequisite Dex 15 for TWF. Switch it up.

Would suit your needs better for two weapon fighting, as you'll need a better dex to take most of the feats related to it, and a Barbarian level can get you a boost of Str when you need it. If you are willing to forgo heavy armors (and medium armor for a while too) then Rangers get some of the two weapon fighting feats for free.
