Clerics+ balance

You hear a lot about wizards and druids in terms of game balance at mid level..but the cleric has more spells or at least as many, are there no issue at mid level with clerics?....esp since they can also fight decently....

Wizards, Druids and Clerics make up the 'Big 3' in core. I think you've just missed the conversations about clerics, because they're definitely up there with the other 2.

Druids are just extremely good from the start. But if you apply some tricks, clerics and wizards can far exceed them.
