"The Nehvirwuz Amulet isn't real anymore. In fact, it never was. But, if it were, it would take the form of a small amulet made of a metal that cannot be identified, because there is no longer anything to identify. There never was. The amulet would glow with relatively bright light, which would be black in color. If this doesn't sound possible, that's because it isn't anymore. It never was."

The above paragraph about the Nehvirwuz Amulet is entirely true, but also incomplete. If you manage to go somewhere* that isn't, never was, and never could be, then you might find it (though doing so would be even more difficult and dangerous then everything you already went through to find the not-place where you currently... are?). If you managed all this, and if you placed the amulet around your neck... your parents would both have been killed, by strangling, before they had met, and you would never have been born.

If, however, the amulet's power does not do this, you have an amulet which would make you immune to all divination effects, mundane senses, and everything else would let anyone know anything about you (including even existing memories or previously recorded information, etc.). You may allow individuals to see, hear, smell, or remember you, but you may not suppress your immunity to magical divination effects, nor may you cause written, drawn, or otherwise recorded information to remain (it always vanishes). Even direct intervention from a deity cannot bypass these effects, though the Lens of Iph (and only the Lens of Iph) can. The amulet also may not be removed by any means until your death, at which point the amulet returns to its original non-place.

(I'll stat up the Lens of Iph later.)

*in order to get there, you need to gather specially hidden and guarded keys from the plane of Dreams, the Astral plane, the Ethereal plane, the Ordial plane, and the Far realm, among many other places, and bring all of them to a door in Ravenloft which had a location that never was known in the first place.

Interesting idea. Could you access it through (probably accidental) time-travel shenanigans? Paradoxing yourself out of existence, landing in an impossible splinter timeline, etc?

Yes. However, if you did that, there would be no way back. The door in Ravenloft provides a way back (admittedly, only back to Ravenloft, but it's still closer to the "regular" planes) after you either find the amulet or (more likely) fail at doing so.

Also: Thanks!
