Weapon finesse

Does the weapon finesse feat allow you to add dexterity instead of strength to damage rolls? Sorry if that's a dumb question feel free to tell me

You can get the dex to damage with Shadow Blade from Tome of Battle, but only with Shadow Hand weapons.

The direct, correct answer is No. Weapon Finesse applies to attack rolls, not damage rolls.
