I am a Barbarian 6/Frenzied Berserker 10 (yes that means level 16) and i need help gearing him. We have started at 16 so he has no gear already and he has the starting gold from the dmg.

Boost your Con

Since you'll be raging, stick to magic items with passive effects. Your biggest weakspot is going to be some variety of saves and crowd control. Not quite sure how much money you have, but a Ring of Freedom of Movement might be a good investment if you've got the cash to spare after all your other item buying.

You can buy DR-bypassing backup weapons if you want, but at your level it's usually better to just stick with your primary weapon and power through any DR you may be facing. It should be trivial enough to spend some cash and make your primary weapon Adamantine.

consider using the berserker (+1d8 while raging) and brash (+3 rounds of rage) enchantments from MIC and making the weapon out of Hizagkuur (+1 fire damage & +1 electricity damage) from MoF
