Hello folks. I'm running a game inspired by homestuck and associated MSPA stories. I'm also doing this as something of a double-blind for my players, as they're over the net for this one, and so I've got their character sheets and stats hidden from them.

If this sounds familiar, you might be in that game and should cease reading here.

3.P system.

I've got plans for the story and events and so forth, but I'd like a bit of help in manifesting some particular class and aspect combinations as well as suggestions on how I could do the others better.

As is, the player's set of actual class levels and such are already in motion.

The ones I'm looking for help with are the demi-boss villians.

Rogue of Time: Might mirror well with the player, a Thief of Time, currently using the Time Thief base class, 3rd party on the PFSRD.

Thief of Heart: Thinking necromancy soul-stealing stuff. Necrocarnate or the 3.5 psionic PrC that cocoons people and burns their stats for power points.

Witch of Mind: Not sure if I should go for a Telepath or a Diplomancer.

Maid of Void: Tempted to go Abjuration specialist, but not sure how to go about it.

I have plans for the Bard of Light (Sandman Bard5/Fortune's Friend5/Luckstealer 10) and the Prince of Space as a telekinetic focused character, maybe Master of the Unseen Hand.

Remind me of the difference in MSPA between Thief and Rogue?

For the Maid of Void, what about a Void Disciple? Void-themed buffing and divination seems like the sort of thing a Maid of Void would do.

Thief=steals their aspect from others for their own use.

Rogue=Wild-card class. Examples so far have been of a Rogue of Void who has recently turned invisible and snuck around, and is a very good programer, and the Rogue of Heart, who enjoyed shipping as a hobby and tore things up with wolverine-reminiscent claw weapons.

Maids seem to be either trapped or at least guided by their aspect, so Void Disciple may work quite well.

The thing about Rogues/Thieves is that the two classes are active/passive counterparts. This means that they have very similar powers (assuming the same aspect), but they use them in different circumstances.

Active Classes:

Manipulate their aspect directly (i.e. Vriska stealing the luck of an enemy)
Use their powers to benefit themselves (Vriska buffs herself with stolen luck, not her allies)

Passive Classes

Are affected by their aspect without conscious effort (Gamzee, the Bard of Rage, became incredibly furious)
Use their powers to benefit their allies (Roxy blacking out the entire session)

So while a thief of time steals time for their own use, a Rogue of time would steal/buy time for their allies?
