How should the Grenadier's (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/alchemist/archetypes/paizo---alchemist-archetypes/grenadier) Directed Blast ability and the Smoke Bomb (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/alchemist/discoveries/paizo---alchemist-discoveries/smoke-bomb) discovery interact? Directed Blast calls out that Explosive Bombs increase the cone to 30', Explosive Bombs normally doubles the radius of the bomb, and Smoke Bomb creates a Fog Cloud effect in double the radius of the bomb. Would Smoke Bomb combined with Directed Blast form a 30' cone Fog Cloud?

Smoke Bomb affects an area equal to twice the radius. Directed blast means the bomb doesn't affect a radius. So the Smoke Bomb discovery would have no effect in conjunction with Directed Blast.
