How do folks feel about, opening up the warlock invications for a dragon fire adept, at equal levels of entry?

It wouldn't change much. I'd be okay with it.

There is a feat (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/frcc/20070613) that does this for invocations one step lower. A Duskling DFA would be a good candidate for this.

*coughs, point to signature*

Adding Warlock invocations to DFAs, as Psyren says, does very little (at least on its own). It gives them maybe one or two more tools that they might choose for Extra Invocation, but it won't change anything really in the long run.

Umm I don't think DFA needs a fix, it is an alright class by itself, this was just a question on invocation=invication

I would say the same with the Warlock and yet...well...needless to say, it's quite a popular topic. Correction: two grades lower. As in, you won't be picking up a lesser invocation unless you are taking it as your 18th-level feat.
