So typical level 6 starting point and...am stumped..

Cleric is usualy easy to buy for, and well warlock depends on what your doing.

But if your mixing the two, where should you land priority wise for casting spells and forming your items ?

Well, it depends on the number of warlock levels you have. A Rod of Eldrtich Power is usually a good option, but you might have more luck with the spell/wand equivalents of the invocations. Chausible of Fell Power adds EB damage.
