If you know of any half-dragons in fiction please list them here.
(Artwork to go with the character would also be appreciated)

Do they have to be the literal offspring of a human and a dragon, or would someone with dragon powers count? What if they have nothing to do with dragons, but look dragon-ish?

Yes.

Everything you just mentioned is worth posting on this thread though I would definitely prefer examples of the literal offspring of a humanoid and a dragon.

From video games, we've got a character in The Longest Journey:
Towards the end of the game, April Ryan discovers that she is the daughter of the White Dragon. Note, however, that she appears human (and, given Stark's advanced medical technology, she probably is 100% human as far as the mundane world can tell); her draconic heritage manifests itself in more esoteric ways.

In Dragonheart, the villain is a human with half of a Dragon's heart. Does that count?

Well... there's Mink.

The Eddie Murphy starring movie The Golden Child has Kala, who's half dragon, half woman. She stays hidden behind a screen for most of the film, until being suddenly revealed in all of her stop-motion glory.

And there's Duncan Xerxes Absalom Wu Fan Cassius Draco Draconus Quetzelcoatl Gondwana Mjarl Khan Belloc-Rosenblatt Jr...

From Wikipedia: Firebreather is a comic book created by Phil Hester and Andy Kuhn and published by Image Comics. The series focuses on the life of Duncan Rosenblatt, a teenage half-dragon. The story has been told in a mini-series (2003) and a one-shot (2004). An ongoing series started in May 2008 and a movie based on the series aired on Cartoon Network on November 24, 2010.

And of course there's Nyssia Silversmith, the cat-loving kleptomaniac sorceress and Dragon Disciple. You won't have heard of her, because she was my PC in Neverwinter Nights .

However, I did donate to the recent Project Eternity Kickstarter campaign (http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/obsidian/project-eternity?ref=live), which means that I'm allowed to contribute a character for use as an NPC...so pretty soon, Nyssia will totally count as a character from fiction. You'll just have to wait a bit.

Mink is the protagonist in a manga called Dragon Half (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon_Half). It was partly adapted into an anime, but only two episodes were made. A shame, because the anime (particularly the second episode) was hilarious.

And the theme song... Ye gods, the theme song...

*cough*

I'm actually writing a book with a half-dragon as the main character. It's still sort of in pre-production; the biggest hurdle I'm coming across is how draconic I want Dairen, the main character, to be. Make him too human and it feels artificial. Make him too draconic and he's too alien for the readership

Well, Cartoon Network made an awful animated film where the main character was the son of a human and dragon. But I wouldn't recommend it. In my opinion, it's only slightly better than M. Night Shyamalan's Last Airbender.

Aaah! What is that?

It's called Dragon Half. The series only has two episodes, and it was supposed to have four, so if you do watch it, you won't even be watching a complete narrative. Oh, and episode two/the final episode has nudity at the very end. Just a heads up to those who haven't seen it so you don't accidentally watch it with grandma or little kids.

It's also one of the worst animes I've ever seen.

"No Bleach and Highschool of the Dead. I still consider Dragon Half a better anime than either of you."

eh? would you care to elaborate why? it's goofy, silly but extremely funny with monty-pythonish ridicullousens. It's animation is old and not keeping well after 20 years, but it is pretty detailed.
For me it was first anime that got me 'into' liking animes, so my nostalgia is probably hiding it's flaws, but I really can't put a finger on why would anyone call it 'one of worst animes'

I didn't find the comedy funny, and I didn't like the protagonist. Also, I remember the ending theme really annoyed me.

Priscilla from the game Dark Souls. (Totally awesome game by the way)

Does dragonblooded count? If so, the Targaryens from "A Song of Ice & Fire"

Really though, there are so many dragonblooded/half dragons out there in media. I've seen stuff with King Arthur has just a bit of dragon in his lineage, to plain old dragons that are stuck in human form, to one where a person is grafted to a dragon.

It is a well used bit of fantasy, & lots of people do it different ways.

Do Draconians count? They aren't exactly half-dragons as much as corrupted hatchlings. Found in the Dragonlance series

I don't know. They're more of magically mutated dragons than they are half-dragons.

Again...what?:smallconfused:

Haley is deflecting the truth of the reason she's hoarding gold with a joke that she collects so much of it and obsesses over it because she's secretly "half-dragon".
