What to do without large knowledge check?

So my situation is this, something is 30 miles away,We have to clear it out, and has a few evil dragons, but we are worried that something might be there hidden or alot more powerful that has been trapped or entombed.

We have access to the cleric spelll list and beguiler spell list, but we do not have a bard or random knowledge roll that may help.

What sort of spells or action would you advise?

The Divination school has a lot of good options for things like this. The Cleric list also has a few decent options for getting pretty large bonuses to skill checks.

The Guidance of the Avatar spell (it's online) would let you get +20 to a Knowledge check to know about this. Lore of the Gods and Divine Insight might help as well.

Okay so I ended up using divine insight, and a scry location spell, thank you folks.

Once the DM responses, I will look maybe into spells that enhance your spot check.
