Warblade with Deep Impact. Psionic Meditation or Instant Clarity?

Which would be the better choice for regaining Psionic Focus in combat?

Psionic Meditation has a Wis requirement but can be used all day as a move action. Instant Clarity has no Wis requirement but works 3/day as a swift action after a successful strike.

I'm leaning towards Instant Clarity as then I can dump Wis.

Would you get both?

I think psychic meditation is better. You can use it all day and hustle is an easy way to get more move actions so you always have deep impact on.

If you have the feats to spare, you could get Psicrystal Affinity, Psicrystal Containment, then get your psicrystal Hidden Talent and Psychic Meditation for up to two psi foci per round. :smallbiggrin:

Chiming in that Meditation is better than Clarity. As a Warblade, your move action is relatively unimportant anyway (between Sudden Leap and the fact that your go-to strategy is a standard action strike). Ideally you want your best trick to be damn near spammable, which it can be if you're in melee trading blows.

I assume you meant Psionic Meditation (Psychic Meditation (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20040827b) is a very different feat.) Also, there's no point getting it for your psicrystal - it doesn't need it for you to focus it quickly yourself, and it cannot focus itself anyway.

If you ever really need to activate it as a swift, the psionic classes all use Hustle. 300gp a pop for the psionic tattoo version, if Rules Compendium updates them to use the activation speed of the original. If not, you'll have to find some other way.

I will never understand why they named those feats so absurdly similarly. (In any case, it should be called Rapid Meditation, no?)
