Six String Saga

The six string saga gamethread. Everyone who was around for the first game already knows what happened. As a quick recap for anyone new joining, the band played a gig at the silver star saloon, a dive bar in Pahrump Nevada a few days west of Vegas. The wasteland is in an uproar over the death of Elvis Presley, the king, and every musician is fighting to see who will take over Lost Vegas. After blowing their hard earned money at the local pawnstore, the team had a brief arguing match with a few nearby punk rockers before the two bands went their seperate ways.

OK, just waiting for the rest of the party to get over here and we can start whenever.

The band is walking down a long stretch of highway, the pitch black asphalt split and crumbling from decades of bombing runs. The vegetation on the sides of the road is sparse and withered, occasional palm sized insects scavenge through the underbrush but aside from that the area seems devoid of wildlife.
Oppressive heat from the desert sun cascades down upon the adventurers. Filtering through the fallout and smog overhead it casts everything within your view in a depressing beige tone and causes some uncomfortable jock sweat. A slight upwards slope in the road leads you to a small hill, the elevation granting you a much better view of the surroundings. An imposing mountain range takes up the horizon in the far distance and several miles off, clouds of dust and smoke from the occasional passing vehicle can be seen, the lines of exhaust twirling upwards into the sky until they fade.
