Sunscorshed Hobgoblin?

So one of my players wants to be a hobgoblin, and i looked it over and thought it was rather bland for the +1 la, then I saw the sunscorshed and thought hmm...

Dragonblood... I have heard stuff you can do with like bards and some sorcs.


Any things for dragonbloods that are more melee inclined?

They make nice Swordsages, personally I would re-toll Desert Wind to Desert Lighting or something similar to tie in with their Blue Dragon blood.

just make it do electro damage instead of fire?


would that have an effect mechanically as things are immune to fire lol?

Yep, all reference to Fire damage are changed to Electric damage. Except for the 9th level maneuver the fire damage isn't that much and since you must be at least level 17 your casting buddies just got Gate, Miracle, Shapechange etc...

pure swordage, or would you dip among other PRC's with it?

Swordsage 20 is perfectly fine in general; but I would need more info if you want more specific advice.

Well I wasne't looking for a build,as much as I was looking for things to do with my dragonblood :P

a Two handed Strike based swordsage with high strength-wis could be interesting.

Even if reflavored desert wind, to do electro, still one of the weaker attack styles...would probably mix it with the usual shadow hand and do a night time desert fighter.
