Load up your haversack with odds and ends that are useful once in awhile. Think of it as having your own utility belt to pull exactly the right item for the situation out of.

Caltrops, marbles, alchemist's fire, acid, rope, grappling hook, everburning torch, sunrods, pitons, tanglefoot bags, etc. Really go to town and look through the books that you have access to for alchemical and mundane items that you would want once in awhile. With the haversack you've got the capacity to pack all that stuff around - use it!

Anklet of translocation. 1,400 gp. Teleport up to 10 ft with no chance of error as a swift action 2/day.

Sadly you already have boots, otherwise I'd suggest Steadfast Boots if you are often charged.

Persistant: Haste makes the boots I had before meaningless, so the feet slot is open. I won't be charged much, but I will be charging, that's for sure.

Anklet of Translocation sounds nice. And the Striding boots going away makes the total 5940 gold to spend.

Any other ideas?

Umm, hate to be a buzzkill here, but I'll do it anyway.

To qualify to become a church inquisitor, a character must fulfill all the following criteria.
Alignment: Lawful good or lawful neutral.

Note 2:
To qualify to become a divine disciple, a character must fulfill all the following criteria.
Patron Deity: A divine disciple must have a patron deity, and it must be the one she serves as a divine disciple.

A cablespool (Savage Species) is only 165 (ish)gp for both spool and cable, and according to the Use Rope rules, can pull 2000+ lbs of stuff 100ft in 6 seconds and some other useful stuff. Get one and never look back.

Complete Macgyver (http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://brilliantgameologists.com/boards/index.php?topic=11066.0) (google cache ftw!) (Gives the best items for various price ranges, from 1 - 10 gold on up. Also links bunches of other guides, like Bunko's and Shaw's).

I also found Zarus from Races of Destiny.

I guess it comes down to, which domain is better for combat? Destiny, or Strength?

And as for Church Inquisitor, is it possible to be lawful neutral, be corrupted by an agent of (insert evil deity), get ejected from the church, and continue in (insert evil deity)'s order? If not, do you know of any level 4-5 prestige classes for evil clerics?

There is no ex-church inquisitor comments, so as long as you can sell it to your DM I guess roll with it. Some get upset with alignment changes for the sake of getting into classes, others are more ok with it.

I guess, the question still stands. Are there any prcs that an evil cleric can achieve at level 4 and 5?

A wand of lesser vigor. Never waste a healing spell out of combat again. You can heal 550 hp for 750 gp which is about as good a deal as limited healing gets.

I don't think there are, but someone else might chime in. There are extremely few PrCs that a character can qualify for by level 3, taking the first PrC level at 4. Church Inquisitor, Master Specialist, Mystic Theurge (with shenanigans) come to mind immediately, there are probably more.

Do you think it would be best to go cloistered cleric for the first five levels, or go cleric 3, then some odd prc for 2?

Cloistered cleric 5 is a solid choice if you can't find anything else. Take a look at the cleric handbook (http://webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?q=cache:http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?topic=1238.0) for more ideas.
