Arbath is the undisputed master of balance and maintainer of the the status quo. He is the pure representation of impartial justice, he thinks that all people and things should start off with the same opportunities but his intentions are not noble. If someone has more earthly possessions than others than he simply destroys them until all people have the same amount of that resource or item. Or in another case, if you hurt or wrong someone greatly, he hurts you back.

He appears as a heavily armored man wearing a great winged helm. He holds a greatsword with a scale on either side of the hilt in his right hand and shield in his left. Legend and his religious doctrine tells of him residing upon an immense marble throne on his personal plane of barren ice and rock, known as Orthos.

Some mortals and outsiders have mistook his powers to be benevolent, which some are, to a degree, and have taken up worshipping him. Archons and Inevitables make up the majority of his servants although he sometimes has dealings with devils. There is a twisted social structure among his followers, with the high ranking archons, inevitables, fallen angels, and other lawful outsiders among the highest caste and his mortal followers bellow them. His main herald to the mortal realms is a Kolyarut Inevitable named Kineus who has mastered the Vampiric Touch (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/vampiricTouch.htm) ability and can channel lightning through its palms.

His mortal followers are paladins, knights, or multiclass cleric/fighers and some of his most powerful are named his Legionnaire's of Balance. He has no preference for race, alignment (as long as they are lawful), or whether they are living or dead. Arbath's followers maintain his doctrines and laws by assuring that justice remains blind. They accomplish this by gouging out her eyes with their swords, an accurate description of how they go about serving their lord and god.
