Help finding an infamous Evil Cleric

As some know I'm playing a solo adventure with an evil cleric. I have been trying to find a powerful evil cleric who would possibly mentor my charactor.

Of couse he would not know that was my charactors intentions. I haven't come up with a "story" yet but something along the lines of me becoming the cohort or follower of a powerful cleric, to gain knowledge or pretty much anything that would benefit my charactor.

Doing this would allow me to gain levels from study or tasks given to me by my new "master". Breaking away from him later will be a whole different story, but that will be up to my PC to figure out :smallsmile:

I have been searching the web and old D&D books trying to find an infamous evil cleric but have not had any luck. I'm basically looking for the equivalent of an Elminster Aumar, maybe not that powerful but you can see where I'm getting at. If not infamous, has anyone come across a particularly nasty evil cleric in any of their campaigns.. do you remember what module it was?

As soon as I find one, I can then setup our encounter. Buy the module that contains the NPC and set things up from there.

Any help would be great.

Sure, you gotta be a Human, a Shade (... Just replicate it with the Dark Template and call it a day, no need for a headache...) and worship Shar, but who cares? This is pretty much permission from a Goddess to be a Theurge and abuse the **** out of magic :smallbiggrin:

If you can play a drow (female), any of the matron motheres or high ranking Lloth priestesses would be a possibility.

My PC is Human.. so going down to the Underdark to visit Drizzit and his Matron Mother wouldn't work out too well :smallbiggrin:

I did a bunch of research and I'm going to go with Fzoul Chembryl... he seems like the best fit.

Now all I have to do is figure out when/where/how to meet him. Becoming a follower of Bane would be a good start.
