Is there any easy way to make constructs you create count as living? Greater Prying Eyes + Chain of Eyes looks like a great way to get permanent True Seeing for free, but unfortunately, Chain of Eyes only works on living creatures.

Incarnate Construct template from Savage Species or if you can, the living construct subtype (inherent to warforged, not sure if theres a way to apply it to a construct somehow)

Incarnate construct does severly gimp the construct though.

Humanoid Essense, Greater [Races of Eberron 186] changes a Construct's type to Humanoid, but only lasts 1 round/level.

You *might* be able to get it to last longer, if you can somehow apply Unguent of Timelessness to the Greater Prying Eye.

Or else, since Clerics can cast it, you might need DMM Persist Shenanigans.

I think there are two ways to add the living construct type to something. One of them is a template in Magic of Incarnum, the other is the Elder Eidolon template in Lords of Madness.

Are there any ways to apply the template quickly and for free?
