Hey guys,

I'm currently on another PC of mine and Inkscape has a bug that drives me crazy.

I draw a rectangle.
I remove 1 (one) knot.

And here comes the problem:

I think I get a triangle with the remaining 3 knot, but instead of making a straith line it makes a bow.

I have done this befor and never fgot such a problem. I don't know what cause the problem and I uninstalled the programm several times.

Does someone have an answer? I also googled, but none seems to have that problem.

That's what's supposed to happen. It's trying to keep the shape as close to the original as possible, which means a bow, not a straight line.

When you have the bow shape, highlight the two nodes on either side and click on this button:

The line between those two nodes will become straight, and you'll have your triangle.

Savannah is correct. That little button there solves the issue in question.

Thank you.

On my other PC it's standart that it draws a line and not making the bow.
