Does anyone know where, or if it is even possible, I can get empty blu-ray size cases of a different color than blue or clear? I'm specifically looking for green, but I also need purple and red if possible.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

PS3 game cases are technicaly blu ray cases that are not blue, so you could use those!

Oh wait you said empty and also clear. I only think a very few games are clear, and even then the issue would be that you'd have to buy a game instead of just buying a case. Sorry!

Blu-Ray discs are exactly the same size as any other CD or DVD. Is there any reason you can't just wander over to your local Staples, Wal-Mart or what have you and purchase the numerous versions of those in any colour you might need? Unless you need the precise shape of the Blu-Ray cases, in which case the only colour I've ever seen the bulk ones in is blue. There are PS3 games with red and green cases, but I've never seen an actual Blu-Ray movie case in anything but blue.

I'm very interested to know why you need cases of different colors.

OK, sorry it took so long. I had to suddenly go out of town and didn't have my laptop. I was pretty much expecting that this would be hard to find. Oh well. I was hoping to get color coded boxes for my media since many of the disks I've picked up over the years have no boxes and the blu ray cases are slightly smaller, which doesn't seem like much, but takes up significantly less space in very large collections like my own.
Thanks for the input guys.

Sorry, I wasn't clear (no pun). I'm looking for colors other than blue or clear. Thanks though.

If you're talking about saving space, my brother went apebat over Slim cases (http://www.amazon.com/BK-Media-100blackslim7mm-Movie-Cases/dp/B000EIXWPI/ref=pd_sim_e_9) (this is a black case), which are about half as thick as DVD cases. There's a before and after on the additional images on this item (http://www.amazon.com/Memorex-Slim-Video-Storage-Cases/dp/B0001MKU48/ref=pd_bxgy_e_text_y) (clear, I know you don't want clear but it's just a quick example on hand) that would give you a feel for the size. I know that brand also makes a wacky color pack (http://www.amazon.com/Memorex-Cool-Color-Storage-Cases/dp/B00080M9AG/ref=pd_sim_e_3) with five different colors (sadly, blue is one of the colors), too. This site (http://www.checkoutstore.com/SLIM-Solid-Green-Color-Single-DVD-Cases-7MM-p/clrcase7s-sg.htm) has a solid pack of slim green cases, but I have no idea how good they actually are as a store or a product.

Is there a reason not to go with a simple CD case if you're trying to save space? I honestly don't know what media you're storing along with the disk itself.

Spoilered for size. Click on image to shop.

@Oracle I have thought about slim cases and I have a few, but they are often bulging with booklets that come with the dvds, still it may be my only option. Thanks.

@Frag The CD cases are too small to fit the booklets into. Blu ray cases seemed to be a nice balance between CD and DVD size.

I wondered about that. I so rarely pay any attention to those that I wasn't sure if you actually kept them. Especially since you noted that some of your disks come without cases (and, presumably, related print material).

How often do you reference the booklets? Are you keeping them just for posterity? Could you archive them in their own storage space someplace out of the way?

If you're looking to color code your collection and can't find different color cases, you could get colored tape/stickers and mark the cases that way.
