I can't find a definitive ruling on this in the forum...
According to RAW, when a druid wildshapes she gains extraordinary attacks, but not extraordinary abilities of the new form. She also retains her base type and subtype.
A druid can wildshape into a plant.
According to RAW, plants have certain advantages (Immune to critical hits, etc.) as a part of being the Plant type. These are all listed as 'extraordinary qualities'.
So, according to RAW, when a druid wildshapes into a plant... she doesn't actually get any of the benefits of being a plant?
