I was looking thru classes for 2nd Ed and this one caughf my eye. Its a charisma based arcane caster who gets their power by making deals with djinn. You have a VERY wide spell selection you can choose from,but your djinn has to go off and get it once you request it so you make a poorer battlemage than a standard wizzzzaaaarrrrd or sorcerer, but its offset by your connection to the elemental plane, wide spell array, and being an excellent choice to being the party face.

Does anyone know where I can get a 3.5 interpretation of it? I read that they ported it to 3rd in an edition of DRAGON, but no luck finding it. Thanks.
