Vargouille controling a Construct's Body

What Construct would be the best for that job, And How hard would it be for the Vargouille to obtain said Construct?

Lets assume, a 20th Level X, Where X is the most useful Class for the Vargouille to obtain the Construct.

This is just the base Vargouille, no class levels or anything?

Unless the guy has powerful friends, I think the only viable options are things like the Shield Guardian, where if you steal a trinket you control the construct.

Edit: Ok, under current parameters...Artificer is the stereotypical construct builder, but Vargouilles have abysmal Int. I'd go with another caster, maybe with a golem manual.
