Blackrock Girdle
Class: Totemist
Chakra: Feet, Totem

A girdle of blue-black stone forms around your waist. Tendrils of stone run down your legs, reinforcing their strength.

This soulmeld draws on the incarnum of earth elementals and similar creatures to tie your strength to the land beneath your feet. You become more stable, gaining a +4 enhancement bonus on ability checks to avoid being bull rushed or tripped when standing on the ground.

Essentia
Every point of essentia you invest in this soulmeld increases the enhancement bonus on ability checks by one.

Chakra Bind (Feet)
Black stone encases your feet, forming greaves of unbreakable stone. They seem to meld partially in to the ground, allowing you to move unhindered.

As long as you are standing on natural, unworked stone, you gain a +10 enhancement bonus to your base land speed and can move unhindered through difficult terrain. The bonus to your speed increases by 5 ft. for every point of essentia invested in this soulmeld.

Chakra Bind (Totem)
Your skin is covered in a thin layer of black stone, as you become the living image of an earth elemental. You feel your strength bolstered by that of the earth.

You gain Improved Bull Rush as a bonus feat. In addition, you gain an enhancement bonus on all ability checks made to bull rush an opponent equal to the amount of essentia invested in this soulmeld.

Blackspawn Battlements
Class: Totemist
Chakra: Crown, Totem

Black scales form on you, oozing forth a slightly acidic fluid in a sickening flow.

You become encased in the incarnum of black dragons. Whenever a creature hits you with a natural weapon, touch attack, or unarmed strike, it takes 1d6 points of acid damage. Whenever you are hit with a weapon, that weapon takes 1d6 points of acid damage.

Essentia
For every point of essentia invested in this soulmeld, the acid damage it deals increases by 1d6.

Chakra Bind (Crown)
Two curled, ram-like horns spring from your forehead. You feel eager to charge into battle.

You gain a single gore attack that deals 1d8 points of damage. At the end of a charge, if you attack with your gore attack, it deals double damage. You gain an enhancement bonus on attack and damage rolls made with this gore attack equal to the amount of essentia invested in this soulmeld.

Chakra Bind (Totem)
Your mouth is filled with an acidic taste, and all your bodily fluids take on an acidic tint. You feel a kinship with your reptilian brethren.

You gain resistance to acid 10. For every point of essentia invested in this soulmeld, the resistance increases by 5. In addition, you can communicate with reptilian animals as the speak with animals spell.

Bluespawn Greaves
Class: Totemist
Chakra: Feet, Totem

Your feet are covered in blue scales, and your toes extend into draconic claws.

You call upon the subtlety and stealth of blue dragons. You gain a burrow speed of 10 ft.

Essentia
For every point of essentia you invest in this soulmeld, you burrow speed increases by 10 ft.

Chakra Bind (Feet)
Your feet crackle with blue lightning. You feel drawn to metal, just as electricity is.

You can climb up sheer surfaces, as the spider climb spell, as long as they are metallic in nature. In addition, when you use a kick to deliver an unarmed strike, it deals an additional 1d6 points of electricity damage.

Chakra Bind (Totem)
A crackling veil of static surrounds you. You feel more secretive, and become almost paranoid.

You gain a +4 resistance bonus on Will saves against divination spells. This bonus increases by one for every point of essentia invested in this soulmeld. In addition, you gain spell resistance equal to twelve plus your meldshaper level, though it only functions against divination spells.

Cyclone Cloak
Class: Totemist
Chakra: Hands, Totem

A cloak of swirling, blue clouds and vapor coalesces around you, all but unnoticable

This soulmeld calls upon the souls of air elementals to grant you mastery of the wind. Attacks made against you with ranged weapons have a 10% miss chance.

Essentia
For every point of essentia you invest in this soulmeld, the miss chance increases by 5%.

Chakra Bind (Hands)
The cloak of wind surround your hands, enveloping them in miniature vortices.

You gain Deflect Arrows as a bonus feat. In addition, you gain a slam attack that deals 1d4 points of damage. You gain an enhancement bonus on attack and damage rolls made with the slam attack equal to the amount of essentia invested in this soulmeld.

Chakra Bind (Totem)
A translucent mist forms about you, forming a second skin of fog about you. It abjures you against all harm that might come from wind or weather.

You take no penalties from rain. You treat wind as being two levels less severe for determing what penalties you take from it, and take no penalty from strong or severe wind. You gain a +4 bonus on saves against natural sources of electricity damage, such as a natural thunderstorm.

Exalted Mantle of the Paladin

Classes: Incarnate, Soulborn
Chakra: Arms, Hands, Heart
Saving Throw: Will negates

You shape incarnum into a shining suit of armor, glowing with the celestial fire of an angel.

This soulmeld channels the souls of paladins into a weapon of pure goodness. When shaped by an Incarnate, this soulmeld is treated as being either lawful or good, depending on the incarnate's alignment. When shaped by a soulborn, it is both lawful and good. You gain the ability to, once during the duration of the soulmeld, smite evil, exactly as a paladin of your meldshaper level would.

Essentia
For every point of essentia you invest in this soulmeld, you may smite evil one additional time. Once essentia has been invested in this soulmeld, it may not be reassigned for 24 hours.

Chakra Bind (Arms)
The arms of your brilliant arm shine brightly with a sacred luminance.

You may make a turn undead attempt exactly as a paladin of your meldshaper level would. You may turn undead a number of times equal to the number of times you could smite evil during the duration of the meld.

Chakra Bind (Hands)
The gauntlets of your armor shine with soothing light, as positive energy runs through them.

You gain the lay on hands ability of a paladin of your meldshaper level.

Chakra Bind (Heart)
Your armor shines brighter still, and flows around you until it completely covers you in its divine embrace.

You gain DR 1/chaos and evil. This DR is increased by 1 for every point of essentia you have invested.

Greenspawn Mantle
Class: Totemist
Chakra: Shoulders, Totem

A wing-like cape of green scales forms around you, rippling even without wind.

You invoke the souls of green dragons, taking on their agility and aerial supremacy. You treat all falls as if they were 10 ft. shorter for determining how much damage you take.

Essentia
For every point of essentia invested in this soulmeld, you treat falls as if they were an additional ten feet shorter.

Chakra Bind (Shoulders)
Your scaly mantle splits into a pair of wings, ready to bear you on the air.

You gain a fly speed of 30 ft., with good maneuverability. In addition, whenever you fall, your wings slow you, causing you to be unharmed as the feather fall spell.

Chakra Bind (Totem)
A sourness permeates your whole body, causing you to feel somewhat sick. However, it is a little thing to bear for the protection it gives you.

You become immune to poison.

Holocaust Bracers
Class: Totemist
Chakra: Hands, Totem
Saving Throw: Reflex half or partial (see text)

Your arms are wrapped in a brilliant blue flame, which does not burn you at all. Fire crackles at your fingertips, ready to consume your foes.

This soulmeld channels the souls of fire elementals to bring down pyroclastic destruction. As a standard action, you may make a touch attack that deals 1d6 points of fire damage.

Essentia
For every point of essentia you invest in this soulmeld, the damage dealt by the touch attack increases by 1d6.

Chakra Bind (Hands)
Your hands become miniature novas, burning with furious flame.

You can use the touch attack granted by this soulmeld as a ranged touch attack, with a range of 30 ft. The range increases by 5 ft. for every point of essentia invested in this soulmeld.

Chakra Bind (Totem)
The fire clinging to your hands emits a cloying blue smoke, and even you can feel its great heat.

A creature damaged by the touch attack granted by this soulmeld must make a Reflex save or catch on fire for 1d2 rounds. For every point of essentia invested in this soulmeld, it remains on fire for an additional round. The creature may take a move action to put out the flames.

Redspawn Talisman
Class: Totemist
Chakra: Throat, Totem

A fiery blue amulet forms around your neck, in the shape of the holy symbol of Tiamat.

You draw on the sorcerous talent of red dragons. You may use detect magic at will.

Essentia
For every point of essentia invested in this soulmeld, you treat the arcane spell failure chance of any armor you were as if it were 5% less.

Chakra Bind (Throat)
Your soulmeld glows red with arcane power. You feel its energy running through your blood.

You gain the ability to use any arcane spell as a spell-like ability, with caster level equal to your meldshaper level. The total levels of the spells you use within twenty four hours cannot exceed your meldshaper level. You can use only spells of 5th level or lower. For every two points of essentia invested in this soulmeld, the maximum level of spell you can use increases by one.

Chakra Bind (Totem)
Red scales cover your neck and face, gleaming with arcane power.

You add your meldshaper level to any arcane caster level you may have to determine the total caster level of any arcane spell you cast spontaneously.

Skiurid Shadow
Class: Totemist
Chakra: Feet, Totem
Saving Throw: Fortitude negates

Shadowy images of small, squirrel-like creature replace your own shadow, emanating a distinct malevolence.

This soulmeld uses the incarnum of skiuridsMMIV to control shadows. You gain darkvision out to 60 ft. and can see even in magical darkness.

Essentia
For every point of essentia invested in this soulmeld, you gain a +1 insight bonus on Hide and Move Silently checks.

Chakra Bind (Feet)
The squirrel-like shadows of this soulmeld move onto your feet, seemingly swarming you. You feel a slight tug whenever you stand in darkness.

You gain the ability to move through shadows. As a swift action, you may teleport up to 10 ft. However, you must both begin and end your movement in an area of darkness. Every point of essentia invested in this soulmeld increases the range by 10 ft.

Chakra Bind (Totem)
Shadowy fangs form inside your mouth, hungry for life.

You gain a bite attack that deals 1d6 damage. A creature damaged by the bite attack must make a Fortitude save or take one point of Str damaged. Once a creature has taken Str, it is immune to any further Str damage from this ability for twenty four hours.

Warforged Soularmor
Classes: Incarnate, Soulborn
Chakra: Arms, Heart

Incarnum weaves around you forming into a series of metallic plates. You are encased in incarnate armor, and resemble a warforged.

This soulmeld weaves the souls of the warforged around you to create composite plating of incarnum. It creates armor that grants you a +2 armor bonus, which does not stack with other armor. This entails no armor check penalty, speed reduction, or similar.

Essentia
Every point of essentia you invest in this soulmeld increases the armor bonus by one.

Chakra Bind (Arms)
Your soularmor flows down your right arm, transforming it into a powerful, golemlike limb.

You gain a slam attack that deals 1d6 points of damage, and may attach one warforged component such as a battlefist or an armbow to your arm

Chakra Bind (Heart)
Your soularmor darkens to a shade of violet-blue, becoming as dark as adamantine.

You gain damage reduction 1/adamantine. This damage reduction is increased by one for every point of essentia invested in the soulmeld.

Waterveil Mask
Class: Totemist
Chakra: Crown, Totem

A translucent mask of swirling water covers your face, distorting your features like a reflection in a pool disturbed by a dropped stone.

This soulmeld weaves together the incarnum of water elementals to grant you aquatic potency. You gain the ability to breath underwater.

Essentia
You gain an insight bonus on Swim checks equal to twice the amount of essentia invested in this soulmeld.

Chakra Bind (Crown)
The mask of water becomes a helm, forming a circlet of swirling water atop your head.

As a standard action, you may put out any non-magical fire within 30 ft. of you simply by looking at it as long as the fire is of Large size or smaller.

Chakra Bind (Totem)
Your mask extends to cover your body, until you seem to be a thing of living in water.

As long as you are completely submerged in a body of water, you gain a 20% miss chance, and can use the Hide skill without need for cover or concealment. For every point of essentia invested in this soulmeld, this miss chance increases by 5%.

Whitespawn Gauntlets
Class: Totemist
Chakra: Arms, Totem

Your arms are covered in white scales, covered in a rime of frost. Your hands become claw, long and sharp.

You call upon the brutal savagery of white dragons. You gain two claw attacks, each of which deals 1d4 points of damage.

Essentia
You gain an enhancement bonus on all attack and damage rolls made with your claws equal to the amount of essentia invested in this soulmeld.

Chakra Bind (Arms)
Your claws extend, becoming cruel and vicious.

You can make iterative attacks with each of your claws if you have a high enough base attack bonus to have multiple attacks per round.

Chakra Bind (Totem)
Your claws are covered in a rime of deadly frost.

Your claw attacks deal an additional 1d6 points of cold damage.

Beautiful.

Powerful, but focused. The dragon soulmelds, I believe, are just the sort of melds that will be in the Dragon Magic book coming out soon. The addition of a few elemental melds is also very nice. While I like the Incarnate more than the Totemist (because I changed him into a generic and more incarnum-powered meldshaper), I can see where these new melds can add a lot of abilities to a Totemist build that would otherwise be unavailable. Very nice.

PS- Incarnum is beastly.

Dragon Magic is actually out already; it has four such soulmelds. Unlike mine, which emphasize the attributes of certain kinds of dragons, they focus on shared aspects of dragons, like claws or wings. Not my cup of tea, but any expansion to systems like incarnum is always good.

Hmm... Soulmelds are usually body part-specific, and are like magic items when unbound. They only start to take on the appearance of monsters when bound.

Redspawn Talisman should prevent the meldshaper from increasing his caster level beyond his Hit Dice.

Waterveil Mask's crown bind should require an action, or touch.

Nice to see third-party support for Incarnum. I'm just waiting for WotC to add a forum for it.

One thing... Shouldn't Warforged Soularmor have a Soul bind? Soul uses up the Armor slot, and the armor bonus negates the benefits of wearing armor, so it might seem sensible to add something there. Maybe a resistance bonus to saves Vs. living construct immunities? 1 + 1 per point of essentia?
