Ok I will make this short.

I have a monster that the party in my current campaign have already scared off a long time ago in game.

When they first met it it was a simple moss troll (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/humanoids/giants/troll/troll-moss)

Now I have added 3 levels of the fighter archetype Cad (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/fighter/archetypes/paizo---fighter-archetypes/cad)

This extra information really, but I figured I would mention it.

The main point is I am having a recurring villain who is going to give the troll a magic didgeridoo that will give the troll a group of certain x creatures (a little like the pied piper, but he doesn't have to play it constantly)

My issue is I am trying to think of appropriate creatures to help the troll when it attacks the village of one of the PCs, which will eventually cause the PCs to return there and help (hopefully, but PCs will always surprise you).

I thought about the following so far, but I am always open to good and intriguing options!

Things I have thought of so far have been:

Ogres (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/humanoids/giants/ogre)
Gremlins (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/fey/gremlins)
Gripplis (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/humanoids/grippli) (I am borderline with this as they are borderline comical)

Any ideas?

If you want frog-men, use Boggards. They're evil, so it makes much more sense than Gripplis, who are (slightly comical) Neutral and isolationist and have much less reason to be called for murder.
