Everburning torch says it is a torch with a continual flame (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/continualFlame.htm) spell.

Continual flame is a spell with a permanent duration, so it is suppressed while inside an anti-magic field. Once it leaves the field, the flame returns.
