Looming Thunderbolt

Key Skill: Use Psionic Device.
Discipline Weapons: Power trigger items (dorjes, psicrowns).

Diamondspike
Prerequisites: One Looming Thunderbolt maneuver.
Benefit: Whenever you activate a power trigger item as part of a Looming Thunderbolt maneuver, you gain a bonus equal to 1/3 of your Initiator Level to rolls to defeat power resistance.

Maneuver and Stance list

Level 1:
Seeking Bolt - Strike. Spend extra charges with a power trigger item to affect a single target with an Area of Effect power.
Symmetric Vajra - Stance. Receive a +IL/2 competence bonus to UPD checks for power trigger items; each round, gain 1 virtual charge to use for LT maneuvers.
Thunderspout - Boost. Spend a charge with a power trigger item to grant bonus damage based on level of power.

Level 2:
Deep Understanding - Activate a power trigger item as a move action.
Metapsionic Trigger, Least - Boost. Apply a metapsionic feat (up to +2 pp) to a power trigger item, costing extra charges.
Thunderstrike - Strike. Spend a charge with a power trigger item to deal damage with a touch attack based on level of stored power.

Level 3:
Might of Lightning - Stance. Save DCs for power trigger items use your Intelligence modifier to determine DCs; each round, gain 2 virtual charges to use for LT maneuvers.
Thunderbolt - Strike. Spend extra charges with a power trigger item to have targeted power affect all creatures in a line.
Sublime Mentation - Counter. Spend a charge from a power trigger item to regain power points.

Level 4:
Faceted Clarity - Boost. Spend extra charges with a power trigger item to activate it as a swift action.
Metapsionic Trigger, Lesser - Boost. Apply a metapsionic feat (up to +4pp) to a power trigger item, costing extra charges.

Level 5:
Diamond Potency - Stance. Manifester level for spell trigger items use your Initiator Level; each round, gain 3 virtual charges to use for IV maneuvers.
Dual Vajra - Strike. Activate 2 power trigger items with a single full-round action.

Level 6:
Primordial Unity - Boost. Spend multiple charges to gain combat bonuses.
Thunderstrike, Greater - Strike. Spend an extra charge with a power trigger item to deal damage with a touch attack based on level of stored power, and affect the touched creature with the power.

Level 7:
Conic Vajra - Strike. Spend extra charges with a power trigger item to have targeted power affect all creatures in a cone.
Metapsionic Trigger, Greater - Boost. Apply a metapsionic feat (up to +6pp) to a power trigger item, costing extra charges.

Level 8:
Diamond Flurry - Strike. Activate one power trigger item for each attack in a full-attack action.
Impending Oblivion - Stance. Activate a power trigger item with your off hand during full attack actions; each round, gain 4 virtual charges to use for LT maneuvers.

Level 9:
5-pronged Vajra - Strike. Spend extra charges with a power trigger item to have targeted power affect all creatures in a burst; exclude some creatures at your discretion.

5-pronged Vajra
Looming Thunderbolt (Strike)
Level: 9
Prerequisites: Four Looming Thunderbolt maneuvers
Initiation Action: 1 standard action
Range: Medium (100 feet + 10 ft/level)
Area: 30-foot radius burst
Duration: Instantaneous
As part of this maneuver, spend double the usual number of charges when activating a power trigger item you wield which contains a power which targets one or more creatures at a range greater than touch. The power instead affects all creatures in a 30-foot radius burst. At your discretion, you may exclude any number of creatures from being affected by the power, up to one third your initiator level; you must be aware of a creature to exclude it. You may only use this maneuver with items which have an activation time of 1 standard action or less.

Conic Vajra

Prerequisites: Three Looming Thunderbolt maneuvers
Initiation Action: 1 standard action
Range: 40 feet
Area: 40-foot cone
Duration: Instantaneous
When you initiate this maneuver, spend double the usual number of charges when activating a power trigger item you wield which contains a power which targets one or more creatures at a range greater than touch. The power instead affects all creatures in a 40-foot cone, originating at a corner of your square. You may only use this maneuver with items which have an activation time of 1 standard action or less.

Deep Understanding

When you initiate this maneuver, you may activate a power trigger item you wield as a move action by spending double the usual number of charges. You may only use this maneuver with items which have an activation time of 1 standard action or less. You may not initiate this maneuver if you've already activated a power trigger item this round, and you may not activate a power trigger item this round after initiating this maneuver.

Diamond Flurry

When you initiate this maneuver, make a full attack action. In place of each attack, if you choose you may activate a power trigger item that you wield by spending double the usual number of charges. The activation time of each power trigger item used must be no longer than one standard action.

Whenever you activate a power trigger item while in this stance, the manifester level of the power is equal to your initiator level. In addition, each round, you gain 3 virtual charges, which you can only spend to offset the increased cost of power trigger effects due to Looming Thunderbolt maneuvers (not the normal cost). These virtual charges go away at the end of the round, but can be used with any power trigger item you wield.

Dual Vajra

As part of initiating this maneuver, you spend twice the usual number of charges to activate a power trigger item you wield as a swift action. The item must have a normal activation time no longer than one standard action. You may not initiate this maneuver if you've already activated a power trigger item this round, and you may not activate a power trigger item this round after initiating this maneuver.

Impending Oblivion

Whenever you make a full attack with a weapon in your main hand while in this stance, you may activate a power trigger item with your off hand at no penalty as part of the same action. In addition, each round, you gain 4 virtual charges, which you can only spend to offset the increased cost of power trigger effects due to Looming Thunderbolt maneuvers (not the normal cost). These virtual charges go away at the end of the round, but can be used with any power trigger item you wield.

Metapsionic Trigger, Greater

Initiation Action: 1 swift action
Range: Touch
Target: Power trigger item touched
Duration: 1 round or until discharged
You temporarily apply a metapsionic feat you know to a single power contained within a power trigger item. The metapsionic feat must not increase the power point cost by more than 6pp. The next time you manifest the chosen power from the target item within 1 round, you may spend five additional charges to grant the power the benefit of that metapsionic feat.

Metapsionic Trigger, Least

You temporarily apply a metapsionic feat you know to a single power contained within a power trigger item. Whenever you activate a power trigger item while in this stance, the save DC of the power (if applicable) is 10 + the power's level + your Intelligence modifier. In addition, each round, you gain 2 virtual charges, which you can only spend to offset the increased cost of power trigger effects due to Looming Thunderbolt maneuvers (not the normal cost). These virtual charges go away at the end of the round, but can be used with any power trigger item you wield.

Primordial Union

Prerequisites: Two Looming Thunderbolt maneuvers
Initiation Action: 1 swift action

When you initiate this maneuver, spend a number of charges from a power trigger item you wield up to 1/4 your initiator level. For each charge you spend in this way, you gain a bonus to all attack rolls and a +1d6 bonus to damage rolls, multiplied by the level of the stored power with the lowest level, for 1 round. For example, you could 3 charges from a psicrown of the discerning watcher to gain +6 to attack rolls and +6d6 to damage rolls for 1 round.

Seeking bolt

As part of this maneuver, alter an Area power you manifest from a power trigger item so that it affects a single target within range instead of an area. You may only use this maneuver with items which have an activation time of 1 standard action or less.

Symmetric Vajra

You gain a competence bonus equal to half your Initiator level (minimum 1), which applies to Use Psionic Device checks made to activate power trigger items. In addition, each round, you gain 1 virtual charge, which you can only spend to offset the increased cost of power trigger effects due to Looming Thunderbolt maneuvers (not the normal cost). This virtual charge goes away at the end of the round, but it can be used with any power trigger item you wield.

As part of this maneuver, spend double the usual number of charges when activating a power trigger item you wield which contains a power which targets one or more creatures at a range greater than touch. The power instead affects all creatures in a 60-foot line, originating at a corner of your square. You may only use this maneuver with items which have an activation time of 1 standard action or less.

Thunderspout

Spend a charge from a power trigger item you wield to grant the touched creature +1d6 bonus damage per level of the stored power (or lowest-level power, if the item stores more than one power) on that creature's next attack within 1 round.

Thunderstrike

As part of this maneuver, you make a melee touch attack with a power trigger item, expending one charge to deal 1d8 points of damage per level of the stored power (or lowest-level power, if the item stores more than one power) to the creature struck. You apply no extra damage to this attack regardless of its source (including sneak attack, favored enemy, and smite bonuses).

Thunderstrike, Greater

Initiation Action: 1 standard action
Range: Touch
Target: Creature touched
Duration: Instantaneous
As part of this maneuver, you make a melee touch attack with a power trigger item, expending one charge to deal 1d8 points of damage per level of the stored power (or lowest-level power, if the item stores more than one power) to the creature struck. You apply no extra damage to this attack regardless of its source (including sneak attack, favored enemy, and smite bonuses), but you can activate the item as part of the attack if the attack is successful, spending additional charges as necessary. If the power cast from the item is a ray or a targeted power, the creature struck is the power's target (with ray power using the same attack roll). If the power affects an area or creates a spread, you can designate the power's point of origin at any grid intersection point of the creature's space (but doing so might put you in the affected area). Powers which are not targeted or ray powers, and which do not cover an area (such as [i]astral construct[/url]) cannot be used with this maneuver. You may only use this maneuver with items which have an activation time of 1 standard action or less.

Sublime Mentation

Initiate this maneuver at any time as an immediate action. When you initiate this maneuver, spend a charge from a power trigger item you wield to regain power points equal to the level of the stored power (or lowest-level power, if the item stores more than one power). This maneuver cannot grant you power points in excess of your normal maximum power point total.
