Optimization help [Archive] - Giant in the Playground Forums

So I thought I could optimize but I talked to my friend Charlie and he pointed out LOTS of flaws I hadn't seen in my build. Does anyone have any advice for general optimization?

Start with the various class handbooks published online and go from there. The handbooks tend to do a good job explaining the strengths and weaknesses of a class and how to both emphasize its strengths and shore up its weaknesses.
