Having trouble starting up a few mmos

As the title implies I'm having trouble figuring out how to start up(as in, get them running) a few mmos(eq2 and shin megami tensai online), everything works fine...until I try to open the launcher, which ends up too big to fit on the screen, making me unable to type in my user name/password or even hit the "start" button...
Any idea what's causing this?, If it matters any, I am using a laptop.

What's your resolution on your laptop? If it's not the maximum of what your graphics card/driver allows, that probably is your problem. If you're on a netbook rather than a full-sized laptop, you're probably out of luck no matter what you try.
