Magic Instruments?

In the book song and silence it says that Virtuosos and Maestros in the Conservatory of the Ineffable Chord have access to Magic Instruments. Could anyone help me by posting some of your own?

There are a bunch in the Magic Item Compendium.

turn to page 56 of the Song & Silence book and you'll find them (for 3.0)

If you're playing 3.5, Magic Item Compendium may be a better choice since it has lots of other magic items as well.

Are there rules for creating magic instruments?

They're simply wondrous items.

You'll find most of them confer skill bonuses which are listed in the item creation guildelines. Many have spells that can be used x/day, again easily calculated.

Pick what you want, go nuts, and get your DM's approval as you're making custom magic items.
