NaNoWriMo for music-making, basically.

...challenge accepted. Anybody else up to try their hand at some songwriting?

I'm not musical in the slightest myself- but I know a couple of other people online who are taking part in this... and my advice is to beware of anyone going by the name of Errol.

Too busy with other stuff to participate, but it's a great idea. I write lots of music anyway...

I can't find an answer either way from a quick lurk on their forums, but I believe they're generally fine with collaborations, so if you can find people whose strengths fill in the gaps for your weaknesses, you may at least get something done.

From what I see it's pretty up to you. All they actually require for you to log having written a song is a title.

Well, if anyone's good with notes, I'd love to team up. :smallbiggrin:

Just the title? That's sad. Then again, mine are usually evocative enough, such as Rocket Science Train Pirates, The Day The Buffer Died, She's A Pantheon Girl and FACE DEATH LIKE HEAVY METAL.

...the last one's prolly too obvious.

The other half is pretty simple, titled I Dunno, Here I Stand, Constellovation and similar. The DnD parody of Boom-de-ah-dah is prettymuch title-less though.
