Spare Hand Craft

I just started playing artificer and I ran into a doubt regarding the craft rules. I wish to craft the following item:

Spare Hand
Prerequisites: Craft Wondrous Item.
Cost to Create: 6,000 gp, 480 XP,
12 days.


Where is the spell used to craft this? Can I craft this with an artificer lvl 1 ?

I'm not sure about the artificer part but since it doesn't list a spell as a prerequisite then there isn't one. you just need to met the other prerequisites like the gold and xp cost. take note that you can make things below the caster level shown in the book. that caster level is so you know how a standard one interacts with spell like dispel.

If I had to pick a likely spell candidate, I'd guess it was Bigby's Helpful Hand (PHB2).

Or plain old Mage hand.

No spell listed means no spell required. Lots of things don't have spell prerequisites, most notably magic weapons with flat enhancement bonuses.
