Software for creating character sheets

Hi everyone! I'm looking for a/some software/s good for designing character sheets for rpg. I aim to the same quality of the ones of D&D or Anima RPG.
Can you help me? Thank you!

I just use TurboCAD, personally (with some word document text-box thingies for some parts). CADs packages are usually pretty good for that sort of thing. Maybe try looking at something like google sketchup, if you are looking for free? I dunno if that does 2D (I sort of assume it does, since it does 3D).

You could manage pretty well using tables in Word/Excel/OpenOffice, though, to be fair, with a bit of nouse.



On a side note, I have inevitably always ended up re-designing the character sheets from 3.x and even 4E, as I've always found the official ones pretty terrible and horribly wasteful of space...

Microsoft Publisher might be a program designed to do what you're looking for. Using a CAD system seems like using a pickup to haul groceries to me...
