While working out a dungeon I wanted to do something fun instead of a stock trap. Effectively it works as follows: The room is 60' by 120' with various 20' by 20' blocks of floor being trapped. The PCs could avoid all the traps by taking a preset path but that would involve reading runes, lucky guesses, or high perception rolls. If I took all the traps at face value they work out to a CR 14. Should I go with this as the value for the room, base it on the number of traps triggered or is there some other way to determine CR?

The CR 14 was by adding CRs not Experience.

(2) FLAME STRIKE TRAP CR 7
(6) CAMOUFLAGED SPIKED PIT TRAP CR 8

The CR 14 was by adding CRs not Experience.

(2) FLAME STRIKE TRAP CR 7
(6) CAMOUFLAGED SPIKED PIT TRAP CR 8
6*CR 3 = 6*800 Experience = 4800 Experience
2*CR 6 = 2*2400 Experience = 4800 Experience
Total of 9600 Experience, which is only a CR 10 encounter.

a CR 14 would be 38,400 Experience, equivalent to an adult red dragon.

You did that wrong. I'm failing to find the rules for mixed groups, but 2 of the same CR is 2 CRs up. CR 8 + CR 8 = CR 10. Though you may want to adjust it up or down based on whether you think the method of avoidance is a greater or lesser challenge than that search/disable device for stock traps.
