[PF] I'm trying to make a low CR Vampire Spawn

For reasons which I'm not going to discuss here (in case my players might be reading) I need to make a vampire spawn (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/undead/vampire/vampire-spawn) that could be beaten by my relatively unoptimised 2nd Level party. My current plan is to take off 1-2 HD and remove dominate, energy drain and energy resistance. Is this good enough and, if not, what else can I do?

I would say removing Dominate, Energy Drain and 1 HD would be enough. You can keep the resistances.
