So, thinking about mystic ranger over in this thread (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=271524) got me thinking about how to best use the overpowered early progression of the class in a full build. I ended up with a summoner/gish I'm very happy with, both mechanically and fluff-wise.

Here's the build:Race: Human

Stats (28 point buy):
Str: 14
Dex: 10
Con: 14
Int: 14
Wis: 14
Cha: 15

1 - Mystic Ranger 1 - Iron Will, Spell Focus (conjuration)
2 - Mystic Ranger 2 - Favored Enemy (outsider [evil])
3 - Mystic Ranger 3 - Augment Summoning, Two-Weapon Fighting (b)
4 - Mystic Ranger 4 - Endurance (b), Cha 16
5 - Mystic Ranger 5
6 - Mystic Ranger 6 - Sword of the Arcane Order
7 - Malconvoker 1
8 - Malconvoker 2 - Cha 17
9 - Malconvoker 3 - Arcane Strike
10 - Nar Demonbinder 1
11 - Malconvoker 4
12 - Legacy Champion 1 - Rapid Spell, Cha 18
13 - Legacy Champion 2
14 - Legacy Champion 3
15 - Legacy Champion 4 - Extend Spell
16 - Legacy Champion 5 - Cha 19
17 - Legacy Champion 6
18 - Crusader 1 - Demon Mastery
19 - Mystic Ranger 7 - Improved Two-Weapon Fighting (b)
20 - Crusader 2 - Cha 20

Malconvoker advances Mystic Ranger casting through level 3, then Nar Demonbinder casting. Legacy Champion advances Malconvoker class features.

ACF's: Planar Ranger, Skilled City-Dweller (Ride>Tumble, Survival>Sense Motive)

Note that this build assumes that SotAO spells are arcane; otherwise it's not legal.

Does that have "conflicted demon-hunter walking a fine line between light and dark" written all over it, or what?

Start off as a warrior who hates demons? Check. (Favored Enemy)
In fighting the demons, learn to harness their power and bend them to your will? Check. (Malconvoker fluff)
Slowly come to rely on demonic forces for your effectiveness more and more? Check. (Nar Demonbinder)
Obtain some mysterious artifact for use against evil? Check. (Legacy Champion)
Become more and more fanatical in your pursuit of your enemies as you gain power? Check. (Crusader)
Dual wield like a total boss? Check.

Full Nar Demonbinder casting with full Malconvoker class features. Dual wielding justified by having Hunter's Eye via Ranger casting and a bajillion flankers (also goes well with Arcane Strike). Crusader late gets you yummy White Raven and Devoted Spirit teamwork stuff, with a high initiator level (your second stance can be level 6). Only thing that made me sad was I couldn't hit 16 BAB.

Any options I've missed that might improve it, either mechanically or that would add something of interest to its fluff or make it more cohesive? Thinking I might use this in a campaign of a friend that's coming up, if he lets me...
