Is there a good guide that covers all psionics? I've seen a couple mainly just for psions but I'm really looking for that covers all the psionic classes and their pros and cons because I've never played one before so I'm not exactly sure what I'd like to play.

Thank you, it's more reading than what I was looking for but I guess it works lol.

The MinMax board Handbook index (http://www.minmaxboards.com/index.php?topic=399.0) has a tab for Psionics handbooks.

Psion or Psywar are probably the easiest to start with, depending on whether you prefer melee or pure casting. The former gives you lots of powers to choose from, so you can flub a few choices and still contribute; the latter has full plate and a big sword/axe/whatever for same. Both get plenty of bonus feats as well.

For Psion, I recommend Shaper or Nomad as a starter discipline. You get enough blasting from the base list that you don't need Kineticist; meanwhile, these two can keep you out of harm's way while you rain down destruction or control the battlefield. Seer's worth is too DM-dependent, Telepaths tend to be either game-breakingly powerful or totally useless, and Egoists can be hard for beginners to truly unlock their potential.

Use Psionic Minor Creation to create a hamster ball to roll around in, create food and mead, craft poisons, craft masterwork arms and armor, and all sorts of other goodies. Use Astral Construct as a disposable multipurpose tool and mobile wall. The possibilities are nigh endless.

Psions and Druid are my favorite classes to give to beginners to play, because they're easy enough systems to understand and really hard to mess up. Psionics, like ToB, is one of those things that if it sounds cool, it probably is cool.

+1 for the Nomad. I'm not afraid to admit that I love these guys.
