If i am gesalting and I have

racial HD// cleric
racial HD// cleric
crusader/ cleric

Do I have a martial level of only one crusader, or two crusaders ?

Am going off the theory that you count your class levels as 1/2 your future tob class levels?

You'd have Initiator level of 2 in crusader.

Do RHD count 1/2 towards IL?

Do class levels on the other side of the gestalt count towards IL?

My impression is yes and no respectively, which gives the answer you gave, I just want to track the calculation.

(Even if gestalt did have sides, you only pick the side with better progress in the given respect, which would be 1/2 IL per HD on both sides unless other (or both) side(s) would be initiator classes.)
