Can one use UMD to fake an alignment to access a relic's (scrolls of uncertain provenance) passive power?

It's a DC 30 to emulate an alignment, as I'm sure you know.. The competence bonus to skill checks could be gained by this. It's unrelated to the Relic Power, so I don't even think it matters that it's a relic in that regard.

By the way, I love that item.. such a cheap way boost competence bonuses to all knowledges.
