Compare Malack's closed mouth in, for example, OOTS #822 (Line Quality) (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0822.html) with Gannji's closed mouth in, for example, OOTS #714 (This Whole Time, He'd Thought of It as the Snack That Got Away) (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0714.html). Malack has fangs. They stick out of his mouth the whole time, even when it's closed, unlike the teeth of other lizardfolk.

How did we miss this?

Holy ####!

All other lizardfolk have either no teeth sticking out, or only one pair in the back of the mouth (sticking out upwards). Malack and Malack only has two more in the front part, stricking out downwards.

And nobody noticed that... that is awesome.

Also, his fangs are the same colour as the wights', whereas other lizardfolk have pearly whites.

!!!

You're absolutely right!

This is even more obvious on The Bad Guys Poster (http://www.ookoodook.com/store/BadGuysPoster.shtml).

You folks didn't notice the teeth before? Huh.
Though I did miss the color of the teeth. Good catch.

Actually, scratch that, the imperial judge also seems to have the same colour teeth.

He also cares about if doors are airtight or not. (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0861.html) In retrospect this was heavily foreshadowed.

Color me stupid, but I don't see what this has to do with anything. Could you explain it for those of us who are a little slow in the head?

Vampires can take up a gaseous form, so if it wasn't airtight he'd have an easy way past it.

Man, I remember thinking "he sure is toothy compared to the others" but never drawing any conclusion. Dang.

Another one (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0786.html)

I thought the airtight door was because there is a cleric spell that would have let Malack pass.

Yeah, but Malack has two extra teeth showing with his mouth closed that those lizardfolk don't have. Not only that, but it's now been pretty much confirmed by The Giant that Malack is a vampire.

And while Malack could have had a spell prepared that would let him get past a non-airtight door (though I'm not sure what, the actual Gaseous Form spell is for bards, sorcerers, wizards, and clerics only if they have the Air domain)...

...every vampire can turn into gaseous form at will.

Are you implying that the judge is not a vampire?

The thing I don't get is that we've seen Malack out and about in the daylight. Doesn't that mean that he can't be a vampire?

I would bet either:
A) Maybe some kind of enchantment from the amulet or a boon from Nergal.
B) He's just that strong of a Vampire or something to that effect.
