How Reasonable is This?

Battledancer and Monk both progress increasing damage for their improved unarmed strikes. RAW, to my knowledge if someone were to take x levels of monk and y of battledancer, their levels would not stack for unarmed strike damage.

If one were to houserule that the two did stack, would it be reasonable? Neither class is exactly high tier, and they could use the help.

It would be horribly unreasonable. It might trick someone into actually combining said classes, and the resulting MADness would embroil the whole known universe.

Yes, a Monk/Battledancer will be so horribly gimped you should do everything in your power to help them. If someone really wants to do this, homebrew the feat Ascetic Battledancer and let Battledancer/Monk levels stack for everything.
