You can buy some Pearls of Power (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/magicItems/wondrousItems.htm#pearlofPower), it is a magic item that allows you to recall a spell you have casted. It is quite useful at low level.

A cloak of resistance +1 or +2 may be useful too.

Boots of levitation might be fun.

You could also change your masterwork mace for a mace +1 of spell storing (with something like inflict serious wound in it to use against one strong enemy).

bunch of wands (lesser restoration, healing)
rod of lesser spell extension (make your summons or spiritual weapon last longer)

Special Holy Symbol from Complete Champion (if your deity is one of those listed).

Upgrade to Full Plate +1, with Restful and Durable enhancements and Sactified (all from Dungeonscape).

Upgrade to +1 Heavy Shield with Durable Enhancement, and Sanctified and Wand Chamber (Dungeonscape).

For Wands I like Resurgence as a cheap way to remove many effects.

Don't forget Water Breathing of some sort. Its easy to drown in all that armor. Auran Masks (Complete Mage) are quite cheap for this.

Get rid of the Periapt of Wisdom so you'll have 12,000 gp.

Get a Lesser Rod of Extend for 3,000 gp.
Get a standard Strand of Prayer Beads that's had the Bead of Smiting removed, per DMG pricing it's 9,000 gp.

Use those to put CL 10 Extended Magic Vestment on your armor and shield every day to make each of them +3. There are plenty more buffs you can cast in the ten minutes of +4 CL you get.

A Reliquary Holy Symbol should be on your shopping list as well, and you can add +X Wis to it for the same cost as a regular Periapt of Wisdom, per MIC p234.

2 Hollow Boot heels and twice as many hidden pockets as you have clothes. Be sure to double pay for the boot heels and quadrupal pay for the hidden pockets, so that the search DC for them is (At least) 25. If you quadrupal pay for the boot heels, you can bump the DC to around 30.

Be sure to have a holy/unholy symbol or three stashed in one of these hidden places, so you can keep casting spells if your visible equipment is stolen/confiscated/whatever-else-the-DM-springs-on-you. Stashing a scroll of a get-out-of-jail-free spell, folded up it becomes a Diminutive object, so best stored in one of your boot heels, is never a miss either. 10 Platinum Pieces in one of your boot heels is also a pretty good idea, so that you have at least 100gp to spend on whatever you need.
