dragons and sleeping?

So, how much / often do dragons need to sleep?

This is rather important because one of my party members has expressed the desire to kill me (probably while I'm sleeping).

Also, I'm assuming that concentrating on silent image for 8 or so hours would be considered strenuous activity. Right?

Same amount as anyone else.

If your character knows about the plot IC, you can have him stay up and "hunt the hunter", if you will. Or take any number of countermeasures. We could help you better if you gave us more info on your stats (class level, party level, race, tactics) and the situation (terrain, enemy PC).

no, this was just a question of how much dragons need to sleep, as I couldn't find it anywhere. If worst comes to worst, I'm probably going to win the ensuing fight if it remains a 1v1.

Your blindsense should still function while you sleep though. In addition, you get to make listen checks (at a -10 penalty) so you still have a chance to hear him drawing a weapon or something.
