I was wondering what everyone in the playground thinks of this concept, An Ifrit with the Firesight feat and an eversmoking bottle.

From what I can see, this is a cheap and extremely effective way to have a psuedo improved invisibility, if you can see but no-one else within at least 50ft of you can, how could anything pose a threat around 3rd level or so?

So, what do you guys think?

Actually, plenty can still threaten you, like area attacks. They know you're in the smoke so they'll just drop lots of AoE in that area (and might destroy the bottle while doing so.) And blindsense/blindsight will still work to find you - not sure about scent though.

So I'd say it's not an auto-win but it is an effective combo.

True, but with the smoke reaching out in a 50ft radius +10ft radius per round until 100ft radius is pretty rediculously huge. With a ranged weapon you could pretty safely stay out of randomly thrown AoE spells. Not much is likely to hit you with up to 100ft of smoke in every direction from yourself.

I agree blindsight/sense, or tremorsense would be a threat still, but what around lv 3 has access to those sort of things? Scent is debatable with the smoke, it doesn't say if the smoke has a scent or not, so I suppose that would be up to the DM.
