This is my attempt to give the psion class some more impactful and interesting class features. 'Ere we go.

Class Feature:
Force Blade Projection
One handed implements you wield that you are proficient with are also light blade weapons with the following properties: Prof + 3, hit: 1d8 (this was a rather significant typo) 1d4, off-hand, high crit

Psion powers also have a range of melee weapon in addition to their other ranges. An area burst becomes a close blast with twice the area.

Class Feature:
Deafening Distraction
Augmentable psion at-will powers you use while hidden have the following augmentations in addition to their other effects.

Augment 1: make a secondary attack in close burst 2 centered on one enemy affected by the power. Target: each enemy in burst. Intelligence vs will. Hit: cha modifier psychic damage + wis modifier thunder damage, and the target is deafened and blinded until the end of your next turn.
Augment 2: Close burst 3, target is deafened and blinded until the end of your next turn, and is then deafened and blined (save ends both)

New feats!

Heroic:

Psionic Veil:
Prerequisite: Psion, Force Blade Projection class feature You gain a bonus to stealth checks equal to your Charisma modifier

Paragon

Invisible Strings:
hitting an enemy with a ranged implement attack that has the psychic keyword and does not deal damage does not reveal your position

[Name pending]
when you hit an enemy with an unaugmented psion at-will attack power in melee while hidden, you may add the augment 1 effect of deafening distraction without expending power points. This attack deals 1[w] additional damage.

Epic

[Hunt the Helpless] While an enemy is blinded or deafened by your deafening distraction, you may shift 3 squares and roll a stealth check to hide if you have cover or concealment as a free action.

Paragon Path

The Man Behind the Curtains
From the shadows, you manipulate your enemies like marionettes with strings that only you can see.

Path Features

Paragon Power Points
You gain two additional power points

Mad Marionettes (11th Level)
While you are hidden or concealed, add 2 squares to forced movement caused by your Psion attack powers.

Battle of Wills (11th Level)
Daze, Dominate, and Stun effects that have a fixed duration gain Sustain: Move. You can only sustain these powers for one additional round.

Artful Manipulation (16th level)
While you have an enemy dominated, you have partial concealment.

Powers

Set the Stage: Psion Encounter Attack 11
Implement, Psychic, Psionic, Charm Area burst 2 in 10
Target: One, Two, or Three creatures in burst who are unaware of you
Attack: Intelligence vs Will
Hit: Slide the target 2 squares. It makes a basic attack against a creature of your choice with a bonus to the attack roll equal to your charisma modifier.

New feats!

Heroic:

Psionic Veil
Benefit: Whenever you roll a Stealth check, use your Arcana modifier instead of your Stealth modifier.

Invisible Strings
Benefit: Hitting an enemy with a ranged implement attack that has the psychic keyword does not reveal your position.

[Name pending]
Benefit: Whenever you hit an enemy with an unaugmented psion attack power in melee while hidden, you may add the augment 1 effect of your Deafening Distraction class feature without expending power points. This attack deal 1[W] additional damage.

[Name pending]
Benefit: While an enemy is blinded or deafened by your Deafening Distraction class feature, you may shift 3 squares and roll a stealth check to hide as long as you have cover or concealment as a free action.

And that's all I got! Questions, comments, snide remarks?

That's how.
Also, that last feat needs some work. I made some changes.

You do know that psions are Controllers and thus antithetical to "impactful and interesting" class features, yes? :smallwink:

Class Feature: force blade projection
One handed implements you wield that you are proficient with are also light blade weapons with the following properties: Prof + 3, hit: 1d8, off-hand, high crit
That is the best light blade in the game by 2 notches.

off-hand, high-crit, and the damage output of a rapier?

Psion powers also have a range of melee weapon in addition to their other ranges. An area burst becomes a close burst with the same area.
Clost burst, or close blast?

I'd go for "area burst powers can be used as close blast with twice the radius. Ie, area burst 2 power can be used as a close blast 4 power".

This makes them very slightly smaller, but they don't provoke OAs, and makes them positional.

We could also approach this as an alternative build, where all of your powers becomes melee and close powers. Heck, we could add the force keyword to all psion powers while we are at it.

Class Feature: Deafening Distraction
Augmentable psion at-will powers you use while hidden have the following augmentations in addition to their other effects.
Augment 1: make a secondary attack in close burst 2 centered on one enemy affected by the power. Target: each enemy in burst. Intelligence vs will. Hit: cha modifier psychic damage + wis modifier thunder damage, and the target is deafened and blinded until the end of your next turn.
Augment 2: Close burst 3, target is deafened and blinded until the end of your next turn, and is then deafened and blined (save ends both)
Blind+Deafen might be over strong.

Blind for most targets is a massive penalty to attacks. And blind+deafen makes hiding trivial, which makes this a chain-combo of abuse.

Psionic Veil: whenever you roll a stealth check, use your arcana instead of your stealth.
Arcana is already a pretty ridiculous skill, with the ability to substitute for many many other skills.

I'd want to make this kind of substitution more interesting. Not sure how.

Invisible Strings: hitting an enemy with a ranged implement attack that has the psychic keyword does not reveal your position
Ya, no. Esp. not at heroic.

[Name pending] when you hit an enemy with an unaugmented psion attack power in melee while hidden, you may add the augment 1 effect of deafening distraction without expending power points. This attack deal 1[w] additional damage.
Either of those abilities is over powered for a heroic feat, let alone both.

[Name pending] While an enemy is blinded or deafened by your deafening distraction, you may shift 3 squares and roll a stealth check as a minor action.

Thanks for the responses.
Edited for (hopefully) correct format. The paragon and epic tier feats are now correctly labeled as such.

Make sure to color code your powers.

How is this for a stab at it:

Force Blade Projection: When wielding an implement in one hand, as a minor action you can create a force blade in the same hand. This force blade has the same enhancement bonuses and magical properties as the implement, has a +3 proficiency bonus and a 1d4 weapon damage, and the high crit and off hand weapon properties. While wielding this force blade, you may treat ranged psion powers as melee powers with range melee weapon (force blade), and treat ranged area powers as close burst powers with twice the radius (so a ranged area 2 power becomes a close burst 4 power).

Class Feature:
Blind the Mind's Eye
Augmentable psion at-will powers you use while hidden can be augmented with the following effects.

Augment 1: One target hit by the attack is blinded until the end of your next turn.

Augment 2: Make a close burst 2 attack using the same attribute, keywords and defence as the power that targets enemies. On a hit, the targets are blinded (end of your next turn).

At level 11, you gain the following augment as well:
Augment 4: Every target hit by the power is blinded (save ends), aftereffect: blinded (end of your next turn).

At level 21, you gain the following augment as well:
Augment 6: Every target hit by the power is blinded and deafened (save ends). Aftereffect: blinded (save ends). Aftereffect: blinded (end of your next turn).

Heroic Tier
Improved Force Blade: Requires Force Blade Projection. When making basic attacks with your Force Blade, you may use your Intelligence bonus on the attack roll, and Charisma bonus on the damage roll. The weapon damage die of your Force Blade increase to 1d6. At level 11, it increases to 1d8, and at level 21 to 1d10.

Cut the Shadows: Gain a feat bonus to your stealth checks equal to your force blade's enhancement bonus.

Blinding Blade:
When you score a critical with a psion power, you can apply the augment 1 effect of Blind the Mind's Eye for free.

Paragon Tier
Invisible Strings:
When you hit an enemy with a psionic attack while hidden, you may choose to deal no damage. If you do so, you remain hidden and do not reveal your position.

Deadly Force Blade:
When you hit with an unaugmented at-will melee implement psion power while wielding your force blade, you deal an extra [W] damage, and you score criticals on a 18-20. You can treat single target melee weapon at-will unaugmented psion powers as basic melee attacks if you attack with your force blade.

Epic
Hunt the Helpless:
When you hit a blind or deafened creature with a psion power, you can shift 3 squares and make a stealth check after the attack.

Cloak of Ignorance:
As a minor action, you can create a close burst 2 Zone of Ignorance that lasts until the end of your next turn (sustain minor). Creatures within the zone of ignorance have partical concealment against everyone except for you. If you move within the cloak of ignorance, you may choose to have it move with you.

I love it. Two whole internets for you.
