Possibly Belkar's fate: Dies because of a prophecy, people don't like it, people speculate he might come back as a vampire, but it ends up that he just dies.

Probably not. Strips that early were still in the gag a day phase. It's possible the Giant went back to the early strips to get foreshadowing material once he decided it was going to be a narrative after all. But that's getting almost into conspiracy theory there.

I think strips that early still didn't have an established, planned-out plot yet. It was just meant to be an endless series of stand-alone jokes. So no, I doubt Vampire!Belkar was planned out from the very beginning.

Probably not planned for from the beginning, but the Giant might have gotten the idea while re-reading his material, or its a really odd and really cool coincidence.

Also, keep in mind that the prophesy mentioned in that strip turned out to not have anything to do with the chimera.
