Okay, I don't know how or why I even thought of it, but would it be possible to have a miniature minotaur? Something in either the small or medium size category with a severe Napoleon Complex.
What would their stats be? I'm wanting to throw a tribe of them into my campaign.

I'd imagine it would probably have a land speed of twenty feet, gore because of its horns, and a teeny-tiny bonus to AC due to it's small stature compared to the typical minotaur.

You could take a minotaur and apply the changes by size increase in reverse.

Table: Changes to Statistics by Size
{table=head]Old Size1|New Size|Str|Dex|Con|Natural Armor|AC/Attack

Fine|Diminutive|Same|-2|Same|Same|-4

Diminutive|Tiny|+2|-2|Same|Same|-2

Tiny|Small|+4|-2|Same|Same|-1

Small|Medium|+4|-2|+2|Same|-1

Medium|Large|+8|-2|+4|+2|-1

Large|Huge|+8|-2|+4|+3|-1

Huge|Gargantuan|+8|Same|+4|+4|-2

Gargantuan|Colossal|+8|Same|+4|+5|-4

{colsp=7} Repeat the adjustment if the creature moves up more than one size.
Table: Increased Damage By Size
{table=head]Old Damage (Each)1|New Damage

1d3|1d4

1d4|1d6

1d6|1d8

1d8|2d6

1d10|2d8

2d6|3d6

2d8|3d8
{colsp=2} Repeat the adjustment if the creature moves up more than one size category.
Dragonlance Campaign Setting has your Medium minotaur, playable, at LA+0. :smallcool:

When I first read the title I thought you meant taur as in centaur, so I'm surprised but not disappointed.

Anyway, a medium sized minotaur would probably be similar crunch wise to an orc or gnoll I guess.
+2 to any two of Str, Con and Wis
-2 to any two of Dex, Cha and Int
Darkvision
Gore attack (1d4?)
Something unique, like immunity to maze spells and confusion effects.

Okay, so there is a medium then. Thank you
But how would a small one be statted without using the table? I love the table, and it's a great fall-back method, but it seems more simple than it ought to be.

Take the Krynn minotaur. Replace "Medium" with "Small," with all requisite bonuses, penalties and decreases to natural weapon dice. Profit. :smallamused:

You could take the information for minotaurs as a race:

Minotaurs As Characters

Minotaur characters possess the following racial traits.

+8 Strength, +4 Constitution, -4 Intelligence (minimum 3), -2 Charisma. Large size. -1 penalty to Armor Class, -1 penalty on attack rolls (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/combat/combatStatistics.htm#attackRoll), -4 penalty on Hide (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/skills/hide.htm) checks, +4 bonus on grapple checks (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/combat/specialAttacks.htm#grappleChecks), lifting and carrying limits double those of Medium characters. Space/Reach: 10 feet/10 feet. A minotaur’s base land speed is 30 feet. Darkvision (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/specialAbilities.htm#darkvision) out to 60 feet. Racial Hit Dice: A minotaur begins with six levels of monstrous humanoid, which provide 6d8 Hit Dice, a base attack bonus of +6, and base saving throw (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/combat/combatStatistics.htm#savingThrows) bonuses of Fort +2, Ref +5, and Will +5. Racial Skills: A minotaur’s monstrous humanoid levels give it skill points equal to 9 × (2 + Int modifier, minimum 1). Its class skills are Intimidate (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/skills/intimidate.htm), Jump (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/skills/jump.htm), Listen (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/skills/listen.htm), Search (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/skills/search.htm), and Spot (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/skills/spot.htm). Minotaurs have a +4 racial bonus on Search (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/skills/search.htm), Spot (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/skills/spot.htm), and Listen (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/skills/listen.htm) checks. Racial Feats: A minotaur’s monstrous humanoid levels give it three feats. Weapon Proficiency: A minotaur is proficient (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/combat/combatModifiers.htm#weaponArmorAndShieldProficienc y) with the greataxe and all simple weapons (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/equipment/weapons.htm#simpleMartialandExoticWeapons). +5 natural armor bonus (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/theBasics.htm#naturalArmorBonus). Natural Weapons (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/specialAbilities.htm#naturalWeapons): Gore (1d8 (http://d20tools.ucoz.com/bber.html)). Special Attacks (see above): Powerful charge (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/specialAbilities.htm#powerfulCharge). Favored Class: Barbarian (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/classes/barbarian.htm). Level adjustment +2.

And adjust it according it to the table.

Minotaurs As Characters
Minotaur characters possess the following racial traits.

-4 Intelligence (minimum 3), +2 Dexterity, -2 Charisma.
Medium size.
Space/Reach: 5 feet/5 feet.
A minotaur’s base land speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision out to 60 feet.

Racial Skills: A minotaur’s monstrous humanoid levels give it skill points equal to 9 × (2 + Int modifier, minimum 1). Its class skills are Intimidate, Jump, Listen, Search, and Spot. Minotaurs have a +4 racial bonus on Search, Spot, and Listen checks.
Racial Feats: A minotaur’s monstrous humanoid levels give it three feats.
Weapon Proficiency: A minotaur is proficient with the greataxe and all simple weapons.
+3 natural armor bonus.

Special Qualities (see above): Natural cunning, scent.
Automatic Languages: Common, Giant. Bonus Languages: Orc, Goblin, Terran.
Favored Class: Barbarian.
Level adjustment +1.

But some of the results don't make too much sense, so we can adjust it further:

Now, I didn't think this out that well, so I'm not sure if the Level Adjustment is really appropriate or if all the racial ability adjustments make sense. Hopefully everything looks all right.

the krynnotaur is pretty much all you need, but you could do something like:
* +2 Con (medium/small loses a lot of Str), -2 Cha
* Gore 1d4
* Powerful Build to compensate because they're going to be crappy in melee
* +1 NA

Also, it's not a great class but you could go with oslecamo's minotaur (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showpost.php?p=7947714&postcount=13).

Right there.

It's technically called a Krynnish Minotaur, if memory serves.

Compared to a Water Orc, these guys are horrible - +3 RHD and +1 LA aren't worth the scent, NA, powerful charge and situational immunities. I'd go LA +1 for that Minotaur, no further.

But LA +0 seems really open to abuse for melee classes.

How's this look?

Using the Pathfinder Advanced Race Guide, I came up with this:

Minotaur.

+2 strength, +2 constitution, -2 intelligence
Medium size.
A minotaur’s base land speed is 30 feet.
Darkvision out to 60 feet.
+2 natural armor bonus.
Natural Weapons: Gore (1d6).
Special Attacks: Powerful charge.
Automatic Languages: Common, Giant. Bonus Languages: Orc, Goblin, Terran.
Favored Class: Barbarian.

He does have some advanced and monstrous abilities, but he uses only ten RP. He doesn't have natural cunning or scent, though.
