Just wondering. As far as I understand Erudite cant choose a discipline, and therefore cant get the spells from it. What method is used to gain those skills?

Erudites can learn discipline powers by extracting them from power stones, or copying them from the minds of other psions. For details, read here. (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/iw/20060406b&page=1)

So if my DM doesnt let me meet any psions or find any stones, I have to buy powers with feats?

You can always research a power you'd be eligible to learn, though it takes (200xp + 2 weeks) * power level. Existing powers don't require special DM approval to duplicate, though the time factor can be pretty significant.

Edit:
As per Adding Powers, subsection Independent Research (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/psionic/psionicPowersOverview.htm).

In addition to research - you can use the feats to learn a power, encode them into power stones, retrain the feats for new powers (using Psychic Refomation or PHB2) and relearn the powers from the stones you created. Repeat until you know everything you want to know.

But at the cost of xp correct?

Btw, can you tell me if i got metapower correctly?
metapower- At the cost of one feat you can make any power cost -2pp if used in conjunction with a metapsionic feat.

It looks like its good for setting up a combo that you plan before hand. Did I get that right?
