Let me know what you think of this:

Factotum ACF
Buried deep within your family tree is a magical ancestry that can’t be ignored.

Eldritch Dilettante(Su)
Level: 2nd
Replaces: Arcane Dilettante
Benefit: Drawing on your eldritch ancestry you are able to learn and use Invocations as a Warlock. You invoker level is equal to your Factotum level. At 2nd level you can learn 1 least invocation from the Warlock list. At 4th level and every 2 levels after that you can learn one more invocation. At 6th level the choice can be made from least or lesser invocations. At 12th level the choice can be made from least, lesser, or greater invocations, and at 18th level the choice can be made from least, lesser, greater, or dark invocations. Using an invocation requires the expenditure on an inspiration point just like a spell-like ability from Arcane Dilettante would. Otherwise, the factotum must follow all rules for invocation use as listed under the Warlock description in Complete Arcane (including switching out invocations in favor of new ones at certain levels).
Special: The factotum does not get to choose new invocations each day as he would get to choose new spells.
Special: Eldritch Blast cannot be chosen.

Would one be allowed to learn Eldritch Blast in this manner?

This...doesn't work very well. Invocations are technically superior to their equivalent spell since they can be used multiple times per day, which makes this ability pretty directly superior to Arcane Dilettante. Also, without Eldritch Blast, a lot of the invocations aren't really usable.

This might work a little better with draconic invocations...but I'm still not sure.

Why not eldritch blast?

Also this kinda fails at the whole versatility aspect of the factotum; setting it as a fixed trick set it kills the factotum's capacity to deal with issues (which the ever changing spell selection did pretty well)
If anything the ACF's feel this most closely resembles is Op. Piety.

Because giving it would likely outclass the warlock by heaps and bounds, item-crafting notwithstanding. Imagine whole warlock builds (which are pretty much the entirety of their limited schtick) being done by a factotum. Hellfire/Glaivelock/etc.

Probably tonnes more awesome if the Invocations can be rechosen each day (contrary to the Special note).

Fair enough.
Keep the dark invocations off the table; hell keep the greater invocations off.

Get blast at 5, and 1 invocation, least
get 1 invocation, least at 10
1 lesser at 15
1 lesser at 20

Using blasts and invocations eats 1IP a piece, not gonna step on any more toes than it does already.
