I always thought Malack was a lizardman, walking around on legs. But in #877 it looks like he has a legless snake body with arms, a fact previously obscured by his long robe.

Is there such a creature in D&D?

Some speculation has been going on for quite some time regarding this. A frequently mentioned possibility is that he is actually a Yuan-Ti.
